Nexans CAT6A

The CAT6A cable line is the 500MHz bandwidth offering for EA-class applications up to 10Gbits. The range has been designed specifically to support the higher frequencies required for 10 Gigabit Ethernet, while maintaining full backwards compatibility with today's needs. All CAT6A cables are shielded, in order to ensure immunity to Alien Crosstalk and other external interferences.

CONSTRUCTION

• Category 6A F/UTP;
• LSZH cable sheath;
• 23 AWG;
• Composed of bare copper conductors, insulated in high density thermoplastic polyethylene;
• Sheet with aluminum side facing outwards providing easy mass contact with the connector
• Available in grey;
• Cable with crossfiller that maintains the equidistance of the pairs and reduces the loss of performance in curves;

PERFORMANCE

With guaranteed performance to 500MHz, Nexans CAT6A cables exceed the requirements of the International, European and American cable standards. When used in combination with Nexans CAT6A Evo connectors and CAT6A Ultim patch cords, the system supports the 10GBase-T applications as defined in IEEE 802.3an and meets or exceeds the link and channel requirements for Category 6A and Class EA as defined in TIA/EIA 568-C.2 and ISO/IEC 11801.
