Aplication:

Nexans XLPE AL 0.6/1kV cables are often used in overhead distribution networks. They consist of aluminum conductors insulated with (XLPE). They are mainly fixed to electricity poles.

Construction:

1.Phase conductor: Formed of aluminum alloy 1350 wires, round compacted, class 2 stranding, according to NBR NM 280, conductivity MIN. 61% IACS.

2. Neutral conductor: Aluminum alloy 6201, normal round, not compacted, class 2 stranding, bare or insulated.

3. Insulation: Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) thermosetting compound for 90°C conductor operating temperature, meeting the physical requirements prescribed by NBR 6251.

Identification:

Numbered or colored for phase identification and engraving for cable identification.

Operating regime:

The thermal limits in operating regime are in accordance with ABNT NBR 6251.

Permanent regime: 90ºC

Overload regime: 130ºC

Short-circuit regime: 250ºC
