Application:
Nexans HEPR-PVC 0.6/1kV cable is the ideal choice for fixed installations requiring maximum flexibility and safety. This cable is perfect for residential, commercial and industrial buildings, as well as substations. Designed to meet the most diverse needs, it is suitable for general installations in outdoor conduits, whether in trays, racks or similar supports, as well as in profiles, building spaces and underground systems such as duct banks, following the recommendations of NBR 5410.


Construction:
1. Conductor: Made of bare copper wires, minimum conductivity 100% IACS, soft temper, meeting class 5 stranding.
2. Insulation: High-modulus ethylene-propylene-based thermosetting compound, HEPR for 90°C, meeting the physical requirements prescribed by NBR 7286.
3. Cover: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), in black, meeting the physical requirements prescribed in NBR 6251, for type ST2.

Note: Where necessary, a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) filler is applied to multi-core cables.

 


Identification:

  • 2 strands: black and light blue;
  • 3 strands: black, light blue and white;
  • 4 strands: black, light blue, white and red;
  • 5 veins: black, white, red, light blue and green.

Note: Other colors can be evaluated on request.

 

Operating regime:

The thermal limits under operating conditions are in accordance with ABNT NBR 6251.

Permanent regime: 90ºC
Overload regime: 130ºC
Short-circuit regime: 250ºC

  • Dimensions and parameters determined on the basis of nominal values, therefore subject to the tolerances laid down in the specifications and manufacturing variations.

2) CONFIDENTIALITY: The customer shall not disclose information relating to this technical documentation to third parties without Nexans' prior written permission, nor use such information for purposes other than those related to the execution of the proposal (if accepted). Without prejudice to the above, Nexans may disclose information to third parties that are part of the same economic group as Nexans, for the purposes of executing this proposal, if necessary.
