Nexans HEPR-PVC 0.6/1kV cable (formerly Fiter Flex) allows you to raise the standard of your electrical installations. The flexible copper conductor, class 5, is a superior choice for those looking for efficiency and safety. Insulated in high quality HEPR and protected by an ST2 type PVC cover. This cable is designed to withstand the most demanding conditions. With a thermal tolerance of up to 90°C and a capacity of 0.6/1 kV, it is perfectly suited to a wide range of industrial and construction applications. It is available in sections from 1.5 mm² to 630 mm², depending on the number of conductors (from 1 to 5). See technical details below:

NationalABNT NBR 6251 ; ABNT NBR 7286 ; ABNT NBR NM 280; ABNT NBR NM-IEC 60332-1
- Conductor: copper, annealed, with high flexibility, Class 5 stranding, according to NBR NM 280;
- Insulation: HEPR 90 °C, meeting the physical requirements, by NBR 7286.
- Sheath: PVC-Polyvinyl Chloride, in black color, meeting the physical requirements, by NBR 6251, for ST2 type.
Note: Dimensions shown are nominal and therefore they are subject to normal tolerances of manufacturing;
Identification of multi-core cables
2 cores: black and light blue;
3 cores: white, black and light blue;
4 cores: white, black, red and light blue.
Under request, cores with numbers identification can be supplied.

Note: In multi-core cables, when needed, is applied a filler material of PVC-Polyvinyl Chloride
Performance and benefits:
The high thermal stability of thermosetting insulation (HEPR), allows the operation of the conductor at the following temperature conditions:
- Continuous Operation: 90 °C
- Overload operation: 130 °C
- Short Circuit condition: 250 °C
Due to the high conductor operating temperature due to the thermosetting insulation, this product has a larger current capacity when compared to conventional cables with thermoplastic insulation.
The sheath PVC-Polyvinyl Chloride besides the excellent resistance to abrasion and low friction coefficient, still allows low cost simple and safe installation, having non-spread and self-extinguishing flame characteristics, according to NBR NM-IEC 60332-1.
