Application:
Nexans HEPR-SHF1 0.6/1 kV cables have fire-retardant characteristics combined with low emissions of smoke and toxic gases - the greatest risks in a fire. They are suitable for installations in places with high occupancy density and difficult escape conditions. They are particularly suitable for buildings such as: shopping centres, hospitals, cinemas, theatres, hotels, commercial and/or residential towers, subways, convention centres, as well as electronics and computer areas, as recommended by NBR 5410 and NBR 13570.
Construction:
- Conductor: Made of bare copper wires with a minimum conductivity of 100% IACS, soft-tempered, complying with class 5 stranding.
- Isolation: High modulus ethylene-propylene compound (HEPR), for a maximum temperature of 90ºC at all times.
- Where necessary, a non-halogenated polyolefin filler is applied to multi-core cables.
- Sealer: Polyester tape (where applicable).
- Coverage: Non-halogenated thermoplastic compound, type SHF1, in black colour.
Identification:
2 strands: black and light blue;
3 strands: black, light blue and white;
4 strands: black, light blue, white and red;
5 veins: black, white, red, light blue and green.
Note: Other colors can be evaluated on request.
Operating regime:
The thermal limits under operating conditions are in accordance with ABNT NBR 6251.
Permanent regime: 90ºC
Overload regime: 130ºC
Short-circuit regime: 250ºC
