Nexans Brasil presents a check from the Nexans Foundation to the NGO Litro De Luz

In September, Nexans Brazil was delighted to welcome the organization Litro de Luz to its Rio de Janeiro factory, for the delivery of a check for the Nexans Foundation. The organization was the winner of the 10th call for projects to support solidarity initiatives that fight energy insecurity and poverty around the world.

We were able to learn more about Litro de Luz' work, through the Lighting up Rio de Janeiro project, which plans to use solar lighting solutions to alleviate energy poverty for low-income families in rural communities in Rio de Janeiro, using materials such as plastic bottles and PVC pipes, as well as a solar panel, battery, LED lights, and charge controller.
